The Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center (GOBCC) is built on the firm foundation of legacy, unity and resilience. It strives to build community and a sense of belonging, and strengthen the history and experiences of Black culture. Established in 1972, the GOBCC amplifies the rich contributions of African Americans at the University of Missouri.

The GOBCC seeks to provide a space where all students feel supported in every area of their college journey.
